Sarah-Ellen Murphy is a trained classical singer. Over the past number of years she has competed in competitions in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. In 2006 she received first prize in the contralto solo competition in Feis Ceoil in Dublin. She was awarded "Overall Voice of the Feis" in 2005 in Féis Maitiú and “Voice of the Feis" in 2004 in Féile Luimní.
