The Church of the Assumption Garristown, was built circa 1900. The Church itself is built out of limestone and features details of Gothic architecture with Romaneque columns. The orginal doors and ornate hinges are still present. It is located just on the Dublin Meath border and serves the surrounding community. There is a gallery at the rear of the Church and a congreation of around 200 people can be accomodated.
