Built circa 1855 in the Gothic Revival style, St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Celbridge dominates the main street. A Celtic Style free-standing cross is to be found on the grounds of the church.
The exterior shows a very fine level of stone masonary and has stood the test of time. On the inside, St Patrick’s church is well maintained. There are three stained glass window’s above the raised altar. On the choir balcony to the rear of the church there is a pipe organ to be found. The church can easily hold a congregation of 400 people.
